There are many days when I wake up
Mourning passes through til noon
Stare absent out the window
And sometimes hear your name
Landscape never lies
No more I say
Stop, begone
Shadows
Sleep

I like it the way it is, it has that double meaning that lends itself to deeper thought. I tend to only do that on accident, though, so I was curious if I was alone in that. 🙂

I love it. It is perfect & the word mourning can touch the hearts of someone who feels loss. Loss can be in so many forms. Lovely words. I cried.
